Session 1: sprint training
High speed for 90 secs (50W above threshold)
Standing sprint for 75-100 meters
Session 2: torque acceleration
Start slow speed
Max power for 15 seconds
Uphill or on the flat
Recover between 1-5 minutes
Session 3: hill surges
Long unsteady effort
Alternate between above and below threshold
Start with 60 seconds at a time
Keep this varied so do between 30s-120s
